How Best Care 4 U is keeping safe and supporting its staff and service users during the Coronavirus pandemic

At Best Care 4 U, we are all working together to keep our care workers and service users safe, in these unusual times.
Our purpose is to ensure that the guidance and procedures that we put in place are in line with the latest advice from the Government and Public Health England. To mention a few, this includes maintaining social distancing, following rigorous infection control procedures, providing adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) – gloves, masks, aprons, face shields, hand sanitisers which we have been regularly supplying to our team.

Keeping safe while isolating at home

We are constantly keeping in touch with our service users and care workers through regular calls, emails, post correspondence and virtual meetings. We provide practical and emotional support for everyone, especially those that are most vulnerable and at high risk.
At Best Care 4 U we know what it takes to provide the highest quality of care in the comfort of your home. Whether you need help with personal care, shopping assistance, prescription collection, companionship, cooking or administering medication – we’ll be there to support you through this pandemic and beyond.

Choosing the right care for your loved ones

We pride ourselves in working with very kind, empathic and responsible care workers. This is crucial, especially during this time of uncertainty, when the most vulnerable need us the most. Additionally, we ensure that our staff have the practical skills and knowledge, in order to provide the best care to others. Some of our new recruits have years of experience in health care, whereas others may have decided to have a career change and help their community, especially during the pandemic. Regardless of their experience, all our carers go through a comprehensive assessment and selection process, a mandatory Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) screening and rigorous training sessions, including manual handling, personal care, medication, equality & diversity, administration of medication, amongst others. To ensure that we follow the latest government guidelines on COVID-19, we are putting extra precautionary measures in place for our assesment and selection process including using personal protective equipment (PPE) when using equipment and carrying out theoretical training modules online where possible.
